Usually,we save our passwords to all the websites in our laptops or desktops.But,this is not a good way because if the desktop/laptop is used by some others,then there may be a problem of stealing of our data.
To clear the passwords,different browsers have different procedures. Now, we will see how to clear the saved passwords in different browsers.
MOZILLA FIREFOX : ( For Windows and Mac OS X )
1. Go to the Tools menu
2. In the menu bar , select Options.
3. In the Options box, click the Security tab
4. Click on “Saved Passwords.”
5. Click on “Remove All” to clear all the saved passwords.
INTERNET EXPLORER 9 & later versions :
1. Go to the Tools menu
2. Select Safety and choose “Delete Browsing History.”
3. In the box that appears, turn on the checkboxes next to “Form Data” and “Passwords”
4. Click the Delete button; turning off the checkbox next to “Preserve Favorites website data” clears cookies and other temporary files as well.
You can delete individual saved passwords by selecting the username and password that appear in the login field when you visit a saved site, and then pressing the Delete key.
GOOGLE CHROME : for ( windows )
1. Click the wrench icon
2. Select Options and click the Personal Stuff tab.
3. Click the “Show Saved Passwords” button and select the entries you want to eliminate.
On the Mac version of Chrome
1. Go to the Chrome menu
2. Select Preferences and then Settings.
3. Click the “Show Advanced Settings” link
4. Under “Passwords and forms,” click “Manage Saved Passwords” to edit the information.
APPLE's SAFARI BROWSER :
1. Go to the Safari menu and select Preferences.
2. In the Preferences box, click the Passwords tab
3. Choose which ones to remove from the browser’s memory.
